Perugia. Started in 2005 and organised by the tourism office of the Provincia di Perugia, the Storie di Ville e Giardini series of free guided tours to houses and gardens in the region will run from June 19th to September 18th. The tours offer visitors access with qualified guides to places of architectural, artistic botanical or landscape interest, both state-owned and in private hands.
Some tours are accompanied by concerts of classical music, opera, contemporary music or plays.
PARTICIPATION IS FREE OF CHARGE BUT PRIOR BOOKING IS REQUIRED DUE TO LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE.
Eeach tour can be booked only in the two weeks prior to the date, from Monday to Friday, 9am-1pm.
